so patriotic

hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July! I spent the weekend in our Nation's Capitol...and the surrounding area, with my summer-time best friend- we're used to being in Northern Michigan for the 4th. DC was about 100x hotter...but still a fun filled mini-vacation: 

 

{We took a day trip to the beach! Henlopen State Park- Delaware}

{a trip to Eastern Market on the 4th}

   

    

{a summer treat-- and an amazing collection of vintage letterpress blocks and drawers}

{and watched the fireworks from Capitol Hill}
