Here Come the GOWNS!

Get ready - Award Season is upon us! {seriously my favorite season of the year...} The time of year when we get to spend dull winter weekends drinking bubbly and critiquing the starts as they strut down the red carpet in straight off the runway looks.

To prepare here are just a few of the newest {read: pre-fall} designs I'd like to see during the awards circuit.

J. Mendel is a red carpet fave, we always seems to see a few of his gowns on the stars. I love these two Pre-Fall options. 

Another award show staple, Naeem Khan turned out some stunners for pre-fall as well. I LOVE the emerald color! And, seeing as it IS the color of the year I'm sure we'll see a lot of it this season. I'd be interested to see if any of these make the carpet cut - to work they would all have to be styled very simply... too much extra, or even the wrong hair style could ruin their simple glam....
